Is there a public API?

Not a self-serve one yet. API access is set up with each partner, so we can agree the fields, volumes and use case first. Email anuj@legaldesire.com with what you want to build.

What data is available?

Structured records of 10,596 law firm deal announcements from 2018 onwards: advising firms and their roles, named lawyers with seniority, practice and office, disclosed values and what they refer to, clients, counterparties, deal type, sector, status, jurisdictions and cities. Every record links to its source announcement.

Can we show DealDatabase data inside our product?

Yes, under a licence. Tell us where the data would appear, who would see it and roughly how many records you need, and we will propose terms.

Do you work with legal tech startups?

Yes. Integrations, co-marketing, research projects and early-stage pilots are all welcome. Small teams are as welcome as large ones.

Can we scrape the site instead?

Please do not. Automated collection is not allowed under our terms, and a licence gets you cleaner data, stable identifiers and updates twice a day.
