This site holds the names of lawyers, because press releases name them. Here is exactly what that means and how to change it.

What is held about a named lawyer

Their name as a release wrote it, the firm that release names them at, the seniority, practice and office the release states, and the date it was published. That is all. Nothing is inferred from it and nothing is bought in from elsewhere.

Why we hold it

Legitimate interests. The source material is published by the firms themselves, for the purpose of being read and cited, and a searchable record of it serves the people who need to find it. We have weighed that against the interests of the people named, which is why the record is limited to what the release states, why every field cites its sentence, and why removal is free and quick.

Removal, correction and objection

Use the corrections form. No account, no fee, no lawyer. Ask for a fact to be corrected, your name taken off one deal, your name taken off all of them, or a record withdrawn entirely.

A removal is recorded against the underlying entity, not the page. It takes effect everywhere at once and the daily sync will not reinstate it. We keep a record of the request and the decision, because that is the only way a removal can survive.

Accounts and forms

Signing in stores your email address and nothing else. Sign-in is a one-time link, so there is no password here to leak. What you send through the access, claim, correction and submission forms is used to answer you and for nothing else. None of it is sold, and none of it is shared for advertising.

What runs in your browser

No advertising and no third-party tracking scripts. Your colour theme and your session are kept in your own browser's storage and never leave it. Fonts load from Google Fonts.
