About the service
DealDatabase (dealdatabase.co) is published by Legal Desire Media and Consulting. It is a searchable record of law firm deal announcements published on Legal Desire. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Information on the site
Records are compiled from published announcements, and each links to its source. We work to keep records accurate but do not independently verify the announcements themselves. The information is provided for general reference and is not legal, financial or investment advice. If you find an error, please tell us.
Free and paid access
Every deal record is free to read. Paid plans add complete histories, analytics, market share views, exports and custom reports, and are licensed per named user: Professional covers one user and Team covers five. Paid plans are billed annually at the prices shown on the pricing page. Login access may not be shared between people.
Acceptable use
You may use the information for your own research and professional work, and quote or link to individual records. You may not scrape, crawl or bulk download the site or its search, use automated means to collect records, or resell, republish or build a competing product from the database or substantial parts of it. Search engines and AI assistants that respect our robots.txt are welcome to index the site.
Exports from paid plans are for internal use within the subscriber's organisation, are subject to daily limits, and carry the name of the account that made them. They may not be shared outside that organisation or redistributed. For bulk data, API access or integrations, see the partners page.
Profiles
Lawyers and firms may claim their profile and add a biography, photo and contact details. Anything you add must be accurate and yours to publish. The deal history on a profile reflects the published record, and claiming a profile does not change it.
Deal submissions
Submitting a deal needs a free account. By submitting a deal you confirm you are authorised to share it. We review every submission and may edit or decline it, and you can follow its status from your account. Published submissions appear in DealDatabase and may also appear on Legal Desire.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
